Raspberry Pi. Passes all hardware tests without new hardware requirements. $35 for the "big" model. I'm wondering if with the HDMI output if it'll make a good streaming box. |

I've heard it runs XBMC which works very well for me on a Linux box. That little computer has a lot of potential to bring about some very creative innovations IMHO.

One of my big regrets in my big computing life was not being able to play with more DEC stuff. Now maybe I can: Also see a link to an IBM 4381 (which I did use) cluster but the link is dead. |

Amazing what they are coming out with now. A neighbor bought a 3D printer. It uses plastic. The first thing he "printed" was a case for his Raspberry Pi. I'd never get one, but it was fun to help him put it together.

Just saw a headline teaser that the 3d printer company has withdrawn the plans for it's 3d firearm. Under legal pressure. I suppose now there's going to be a whole new volume of laws on the books on what can be made and can't with a 3d printer (no firearms, drugs or Bibles).

Yep, more laws should make everything right again. Especially can't allow the last one you listed to be printed. That's some real inflammatory stuff!
