Yep. Maybe he would have them start using video conferencing like....yesterday.
It's no wonder Obama and Friends don't believe in capitalism. The goal there is to make money...not reward failure. Or keep rewarding those who fail: Fannie, Freddie Spend $640,000 on Conference | Compliancex That's six hundred and forty thousand dollars...on 100 employees...for just ONE conference. |

Rick Perry ‘Retires’ Early To Collect Pension Benefits - ABC News
He's just doing what others have done. That makes it OK. Kinda reminds me of a clip I saw yesterday of Carney...Obama's press secretary. Some reporter (don't know) grilling him over the FLOTUS taking a separate government jet to Hawaii instead of flying as a family with her husband. Of course Carney kept repeating that Obama was staying late in Washington to make sure Congress got work done before the But his most often repeated defense is that this is consistent with what other first families have done for decades and decades. (The reporter was questioning the $100,000 per hour jet for Michelle in light of the budget, the poor economy, and the president's recent cutbacks on government spending for flights and other expenditures. Bet if it was a Republican doing that they wouldn't be defending it because that's the way it's always been done.) Slime balls! |

Man, that article is full of jaw droppers including the "consulting fee" his wife gets. If that's not political payback I don't know what is. And $240k a year? Is he made out of gold? Certainly not his brain. |

Depends which brain maybe....
I missed that short blurb about the consulting fee. Just amazing...and sadly not amazing at the same time. Was it here or elsewhere that there was quite a bit in the news recently about this early retirement scam by public employees. School officials maybe?? Hmmm...come to think of it, seems it was a link I posted. LOL |

Don't have time for the pain....nor these dingbats:
Senator warns FDA on danger of newest painkillers - Yahoo! News What bothers me is an "in general" thing...the knee-jerk reaction of folks like Schumer(sp?) that we can't do good things....because somebody is going to abuse it. Doesn't matter what IMHO. Why not ban pain killers, cell phones, cars that go too fast, or food that makes people fat. The list is endless. It's like they blame the decent folks instead of the abusers. |

I think a ban on politicians is in order. They're more dangerous than dope.

That's a great idea. If we're going to ban things that are harmful....start with politicians!!!
Schumer would be a good start. So would some Romney "surrogate" (he was called in news reports). I only read the teaser...something about voting for a candidate is more than finding somebody who agrees with your moral and political beliefs. We have to pick somebody who can be elected. Heck...if I felt that way...I would have voted for Obama last time. But then I would have had to cut my right hand off! |

At least with dope you can make a choice to avoid it. Not so with politicians. I didn't vote for him but I had to cut my right hand off anyway...for voting for McCain. |

Yeah. I voted for McCain. No, I take that back, if it makes sense: I didn't vote for McCain...I voted for the GOP presidential candidate. But I had to hold my nose and go to confession afterwards.

If we're going to ban things that are harmful... I'd recommend starting with the staff of all the politicians. I don't think the politicians can actually do anything without them.

Interesting thought - Stoessel had a segment on that particular subject the other night. He interviewed a bunch of young people in Times Square showing a big poster photo of Romney, Paul, others. Most didn't have a clue as their IDs. Totally uninformed but they vote.

I expect he could have found a gaggle of older people who didn't know either.

No doubt. His main point was 'Let's stop these massive Get out the vote drives.' Those uninformed are the ones likely to be flushed out ... the interested and informed would probably vote anyway.
