Guy was over today and had the Acer 500 that I got to play with for a bit.

I really, really want one! How about you guys all chipping in as some kind of belated birthday gift or something?

Heck, at this point it's almost cheaper than a t-bone.

Nah, but I did find a coupon good at Staple (store only) for $100 off. The coupon expires on the 31st and every Staples I can find in a 30 mile radius is sold out.

Not a lot; the web, a very nice standalone Bible e-book and the widget store. What kinda impressed me was the voice both for input and for reading aloud apparently any text that shows up.
