Acer Cuts Tablet Shipment Estimates in Half

From June but found online this morning after I saw it in hardcopy yesterday and when I saw that Buy.com had the Acer Iconia, with dock, on sale for $480.
Still too rich for my blood but it made me wonder, what drives prices down, lack of demand at the current market price, or the production savings because of increased production?

	They are coming out with some pretty slick little machines. The bells and whistles on them seem to keep getting better too.
