Nope, no bag, just our imagination. This was in late '72..Nov/Dec(?) and was a combination of mostly two things:
a. Wintery nasty weather at Fort Knox and
b. Drill sergeants with lots of attitude.  Lots of bad attitudes. (This was as Vietnam was drawing down.)

It was just a verbal command that we were running through the course in "simulated darkness" instead of hanging around till night time. (Seems like it was around noon.)  And that's what we did, and hauled back to the barracks out of the wind, rain, and other nasty stuff.  It was the Army. If they gave you a command that it was now dark and you could not see...who were we to argue.
