$129 doesn't seem like a bad price actually for a 1TB laptop drive. (Although for myself, if I was going to upgrade my laptop drive, I'd go with a SSD.) |

I don't think my wife and daughters have 1 TB of data between them. I store nothing on my laptop. Now an SSD on it sounds like some fun.
I've got to get caught up on the current state of affairs on SSDs. I've read a blurb here and there that indicated to me that longevity is not as big of a concern on some and the prices seem to be getting within reach. |

I'm sure happy with mine and I run a diagnostic program at boot that doesn't show any problems...so far.
