Dumb and stupid situation

   I have a Canon printer, an I560.  It's a few years old but a good basic printer.  The print head has a problem and color printing is all weird and not right at all.  I have done extreme measures cleaning the print head but it didn't help.  I gave up and now tonight looked for a replacement print head. $80 minimum and up from there.  Ridiculous in that the printer didn't cost much more than that.  Ain't gonna happen.  Another perfectly good product going into the dumpster and that's just not right.  (It won't really go in the dumpster, it prints B&W just fine so it stays and I just won't print color)  Bah Humbug!!

	Seems everything is that way...which a coworker and I were chatting about yesterday. Not a printer...their "family" 30-year old ice cream maker. Don't remember the brand but he swears it makes the best homemade ice cream. But the motor just died. Sorry about that...no replacement motors for it...but they're more than happy to sell them a brand new one.
