Hussein has kicked off his 2012 election campaign. Wow.

I haven't looked at any of the ads, etc. but I wonder if it'll be "4 more years".

Seems like a hard sell to me but then I expect that a lot of people are still thinking it's Bush's fault.

Obama Announces Reelection Bid

Embedded Obambi commercial at link. Wow, that's anemic. Nah, that ain't right, it's a terrible commercial, period but then back to the question how can they say "4 more years"?

My supervisor asked me today if I'd heard a rumor that Obama was launching today. I confirmed it...and commented that so far there really hasn't been any GOPers seriously throwing their hat in the ring.

My supv says that's because they know Obama will win. Because of the race card. I commented that maybe then we ought to support Hermain Cain or Allen West.  "Nope", according to the supervisor...the GOP ought to get Condi Rice to run. Intelligent. Conservative. A minority and a woman.

Dunno.

Rice is hardly conservative but regardless I will never pull the lever for a pro-abortion person of any sex or race. Just the way I am.

I expect that the big guns of the GOP will sit it out in the weeds and let the current crop winnow out but outside of Haley Barber I don't see any that I could vote for so far.

I'm still shocked that Clinton was re-elected. So it won't surprise me to see Obama make it through again.  He's bought a lot of votes...a lot of votes!

ROFL  Man...it's been a rough day for me. And I just noticed that you've started a new "election" thread.

Now this is interesting.  I can't quite figure this news service out.  I've read quite a number lately that have been critical of the iPOTUS. Or, if not critical, actually starting to question him. Either they've hired some conservative writers or the liberal ones starting to take off their blinders.

Clinton was pretty popular. Despite everything the economy was pretty good and the budget was under control and let's face it, Dole just wasn't a good alternative.

Headline reads:  Jesse Ventura would consider being Ron Paul's VP
I wonder if Ron was thrilled to read that one?

I find that hard to believe (probably should say "I don't want to believe ...") .... IF we even make it to the next election.  I'm not sure we can make it through four years of him, much less eight.

Jesse should stick to wrestling or getting killed by alien hunters.

Ref Clinton: Yep. "It's the economy" was the key. Clinton was in the right place at the right time...dumb luck. (And he is IMHO probably a sweet talker, wheeler/dealer.)

I can't get the theme of the 2012 champaign out of my head. I'm seriously concerned.

I've spent a lot of time on this.

I've tossed and turned for several nights now.

And I finally got it.

Last time it was Hope and Change.

This time it's Hoax and Chains.

Haha, I thought it was one of my best but I searched it and it's not by any means original to me. Maybe I heard it and forgot but I sure don't remember hearing it.

Good theme. Sounds like a winning bumper sticker!

I understand why Obama is lying low. What's less understandable is why so many Republicans are scared of him.
Amen. They seemed scared of him in the last election and still haven't grown a set of courage yet. (Except for the Tea Party folks.)

Good read IMO:
HURT: Reporters continue to be snookered by Obama -
And then there were Mr. Obama’s worldly-wise assurances that peace would reign and everybody would love us if only we had a sophisticated, multilingual president who had lived abroad, on other continents, with roots in the Muslim world.

Instead, he has shepherded us from feared and loathed to just loathed. And, of course, mocked.

It gets better farther into the article...when it compares the reaction of the MSM to  Abu Ghraib and Bush compared to Obama and the recent photos of murdered civilians by U.S. troops.

It's no wonder. Gee...how many nut cases does Obama have on his team.  On second thought, to make it easier, how many on his team are not nut cases?

Strange. Trump is no dummy. It's just odd that he would latch onto something like Obama's birth...
