Gee. Somehow I just find it hard to feel sorry for these folks. Either side.

Without them....there wouldn't be any football?  Dunno. I think without them...there would be scads of folks beating on the doors to play....

Millionaires arguing with billionaires.  It's out of my league and downright silly IMO.  It doesn't trigger any emotions in me like the people vs. the unions and I think if the season is suspended I won't miss it too much.  Now don't go messin' with the NCAA or I'll have to downgrade to the UIL or sandlot.  (I was always a sandlot participant and fan anyway)
(edit) I just read your link.  The best thing I brought away from it was a comment by a reader :
"I remember in US history class, when we learned all about the slaves, how the slaves lived in massive houses with servants of their own and pimped out wagons because of all the millions that the slave owners paid them."  Heehee ...

ROFL   I didn't read the reader's comments...good one.

The only reason I paid much attention to the dispute is because Indy is the site of the next Superbowl.  Maybe. They've spent a lot of money with more planned. And are counting on the economic boost; maybe.

LOL!  Good comment.  I rarely get to watch much of a game and like to see Atlanta do well, but if they don't show?  Meh!  I'll watch a movie.  The strikes of the past taught me not care about pro ball of any kind.
