You sure don't see that type of stuff playing (over and over) on the MSM!!
NBC News Admits Anti-Tea Party Bias!   (You'll notice that she always makes an excuse, a "however"  or a "but" for the actions of the union supporters.

Guess we'll find out today how this plays out in Columbus (Ohio).

Yup, Columbus is going to be another big one I expect.

Also found more on the Indiana right to work law.

Good write up. Saw him on a weekend talk show. Very calm but impressive arguments with whomever was there from the left.

Good last paragraph:
First, the Democratic Party is the party of government, not only because of its extravagant sense of government's competence and proper scope, but also because the party's base is government employees. Second, government employees have an increasingly adversarial relationship with the governed. Third, Obama's "move to the center" is fictitious.

There was somebody in a clip I watched (but can't remember who) that said the MSM hasn't been reporting the "full" truth. That the Wisconsin changes to union representation would NOT affect negotiating "wages". Those would still be as is.  But what would be removed from representation by unions would be "benefits".

Can't remember who it was...some Wisconsin elected fellow who said it's not the wages, but the rest of it that's killing them. (Oops...did I say that..."killing". Sorry. Shame on me.)

Wisconsin is rather abstract. Indianapolis is a little closer to home.
Indiana Democrats trigger Statehouse showdown over anti-union legislation | The Indianapolis Star | indystar.com

Sorry suckers. I trust the next time the situation is reversed (Democratic majority) that Republicans remember this tactic...just don't show up. Heck...I don't need to move to some third world non-democratic country...it's moved to me.

I wonder where they took that poll...at a local union beer hall?

Looks to me that they're engaging in government shut down.....which is okay by me but the problem is they're getting paid to do it.

I read the next two pages on the wayward legislators article and I just had to laugh like those pols are afraid that people are going to lose wages. I know what they're afraid of; without an automatic requirement to pay dues their campaign contributions are going to go in the drink.

I wonder if they weren't forced to how many people would pay dues?

I can not believe that mandatory union membership, due paying and such is constitutional. In my book...it's not. It might be legal, but it's wrong.

I'll have to try reading the other pages later.  I kept clicking on the "next" button...but nothing every happened. LOL

What irks me is they were elected to do a job...just as the Republicans were elected.  They were elected to fight their battles in the statehouse...not run away.  And Pelosi, I understand, just loves what they are doing.  And wasn't it the Democrats in D.C. that wanted to changed the rules so that the minority part (Republicans) couldn't stand in the way of the majority?  Dirty rotten stinking...Censored

One thing, FWIW...after thinking about it...I have to agree with Daniels. And I'm just speaking of Indiana...not Wisconsin, which is an entirely different story.

I was disgusted when the Democrats took control in '08 in D.D.  Remember how hog wild they went trying to push everything through that they'd been saving up for 30 or 40 years?

So as far as Hoosierland...there's a lot of other issues more important. I'm not sure why they pulled this out of their hat. It sure wasn't a part of  any any campaign goals.  I think, as a surprise agenda, it's likely to create far more problems than it might solve.  Discussion and having it on the ballet at the next election would be a better way IMHO.

Now...I'm ticked.
Indiana Republicans Won't Revive Anti-Union Bill

I'm not sure if it's in this story, or one I read earlier...but now that the GOP has said it won't "revive the bill"...the Democrats are heading home to Indianapolis...NOT!  Now there's 11 or 12 or radical bills they want killed...before they will return home. Censored Isn't that extortion or some such?

I think the lesson there is that once you give an inch they want you to give a mile. Compromise doesn't work with commies.

I think that I recall someone saying that "we won" as justification for what they were doing.

Oh, wait, it only works for their side.
