I just ran across an extension this morning that I had never seen before.  Windows didn't know what it was either.  It's .skp - which I have found out now is a Google viewer for a Google application called Sketchup.  I haven't really brought it into play yet so can't explain further but I needed it to view a woodworking plan for a small project.

Ah yes, Google SketchUp.  It's a free 3D modeling app.  Google just keeps pumping this stuff out.  Never tried it myself.

Hmm....looks interesting. Maybe better than my hand drawn model of landscaping changes I made years and years ago.
