I might add that the above is the "most balanced" article I could find. Others were howling at the fact that fanatics thought the Medieval warm period was "local" in the first place but there ya go.

Obviously, 800-900 years ago the EPA probably closed down all those coal fired electricity plants and saved the world from worse warming!
