I'd need to be in the right place and/or with the right folks to listen to much.  Love the instrumentals.  Some decent vids on youtube.

Hard to turn a mess like his around.  Looks like the Speaker of the House in Georgia dug himself a similar hole the last couple of weeks too.

Seems it's more prevalent in Washington, but maybe a strain of it has drifted down here.

Yeah, Sanford of SC.  A shame cause I liked him politically speaking and now he's gone and messed it all up.

Weirder and weirder.

Woman rushed to hospital from Woods’ home

I hope it isn't his mother. Actually no, I hope it's not anyone and a bogus report but...

It's over for him, saw a tee shirt for sale today "I slept with Tiger Woods".

They'll be making fun on him on the late night talk shows if they haven't already.

That poor announcer is going to be fit to be tied since he probably won't be able to say the things that he'd like to....

There are just so many jokes but I'll refrain.

Nothing to do with it...it was already in the works. LOL

The only people I feel sorry for in stuff like this, are the kids. No choice in the matter.  I always think of the kids. Can you imagine what they go through, the whispers, rude comments, questions from classmates, etc.

It is real sad when you have kids involved in a mess like this.

Interesting thoughts.

The Lessons of Tiger Woods

I've been wondering about this since it started. I figured there would be more but I didn't have a clue as to how many and what kind of detail.

Will it be a litmus test? Golf is, after all, pretty conservative and the crowds are pretty close to the players, probably far more so than just about any other sport. Will the big crowds that follow Woods around abandon him? Will the TV ratings, which skyrocket when he's playing, stay high (I expect his first tournament ratings will be huge from those wanting to see what happens)?

Will his sponsors fire him? I expect, for the most part, that it will depend on how his products sell. If Nike continues to sell TW hardware they'll keep him on, otherwise I doubt if they will. I'd expect others to be more concerned with guilt by association and will shelf him for a while if not forever.

I'm thinking that unlike Kobe Bryant this has a lot more legs and people are making a lot more jokes about it. True, there were a load of jokes about Clinton and he continued to be popular so I dunno, I just feel like he's fried.

I'll wager. Bump in the road.  If his wife leaves him, a little bigger bump.  All he has to do is play and win.
