Yeah, gas here has been on a steady rise and just yesterday made another ten cent jump to $3.38. That's not cool.

Shoot...just got some gas but didn't look. $3.70-something.

$75 oil? Gee...I saw a new blurb a few days ago speculating on $50 a barrel.  I didn't bother to click.

Central planning always works out so well.

Houston fills with crude oil that can’t be shipped out

It's a good thing we have the central planners to figure all this stuff out for us.

What would we do without them?

Odd.  Gas prices are weird.  We just got back from Decatur where my sweetie filled up at Murphy (Walmart) yesterday because gas was $3.58.  It's still $3.58 today. Everybody else is pretty much at $3.85 +/- a penny.  That's a heck of a difference.

Oddly...gasbuddy dot com says Murphy is $3.85 also.  It sure isn't.

A co-worker commented today that the gas prices don't make sense.  She's from the Portland area (16 miles due south on 27)....where she she's been paying $3.52 for gas.  Maybe they have a special price for us well-to-do Swiss...)

That's gotta be it.

Gas has gotten more expensive here. $3.39 is pretty common.

$3.39 at Murphy and a couple of places close by, otherwise $3.45 plus.

Ouch.

We're somewhere in the $3.50 range.

The Walmart that was low finally raised their price to $3.75 today. (I filled up.)
That's only 2-cents lower than everybody else in the area, including our town.  The gal working the Murphy booth said pricing has been unreal for several weeks now.  She said parts of Ohio are in their distribution/management area and a many of the Murphy stations there are still at $3.52.
