Yes....I know...this is just playing in theaters now. No idea of the release date for DVDs. But I'll forget it by then. HeeHe
IMDb - The Help (2011) I have not seen it. It might be a chick flick? My two sweeties had a mother/daughter day out this week and decided to take in a flick. They both loved it. The only downside...it sounds like a good flick to watch at home where you can pause and stretch your legs: 146 minutes long (not counting previews and ads in the theaters.) |

I haven't been to a cinema for years so I'll probably wait for the DVD release but from what I've seen it looks like a great movie.

Watched Remo Williams last night, a movie I almost know by heart as when I had premium TV it was on about every 15 minutes. Haven't seen it in a long while. A total hoot. |

I like pretty much everything I've ever seen Fred Ward in from Tremors to The Right Stuff.

Remo is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. You've tweaked an urge to get and watch it again. At least that's the way I remember it .... it has been a long time.

Another funny one I watched part of last night was Cold Turkey. Not as good IMO as Divorce American Style those are the only movies that ASAIK Norman Lear ever directed and I think they're both brilliant. I note that DAS has a lower rating than CT on IMDB, go figure, but I still think that DAS is very biting satire/commentary. |

We watched it last night. I took it as a love story...with some quirky twists...but still a love story. |

Watched the first episode of "Once Upon a Time". Looks like a creative fun show to me. You can watch it free on IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1983723/

Actually, I was channel surfing and wound up watching it. Didn't realize at the time...till the end...that it was a series. I hope it's not one of those that never has a "happily ever after" and just keeps going forever...

Yeah, I was kinda wondering about that too. They have to throw us a "happy" scrap here and there or it won't be worth it to me.

Watched "Captain America" yesterday. I've enjoyed the new superhero movies they have been coming out with lately. This one felt more like a part 1 movie. It's one of the movies that set up the new Avengers movie that will be coming out May 2012: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0848228/

It was one of the better ones which, for me, include the Spiderman and the Iron Man conversions along with some of the X-men; it was good to see Cap finally on the screen. It was also cool how they got Iron Man's daddy into the mix, liked that touch.

Hadn't heard about the new Spiderman. Wonder if it'll be a reboot for a new one of the same series?

Cool. Looks like a good cast, except for Jackson.
Loved the Spiderman movies...especially the Sandman. |

Jackson had maybe 30 seconds of screen time. Liked the Sandman one as well, think it was a tie with the first as my fave. |
