	This is a relatively oldie and you all have probably seen it but thought I'd mention it in case. A Time to Kill, a '96 flik with Matthew McConaughey, Sandra Bullock, both generations of Sutherlands, Patrick McGoohan, Kevin Spacey, and Samuel L. Jackson. A crack cast and a good story of the racial south (Mississippi) in about 1980 or so. Adapted from a John Grisham book and a first rate movie IMO. I had seen it before but watched again on some satellite channel.

	A Time to Kill is in my queue, thanks. Think I've seen it but even if so I'll enjoy it again. I watched Once Upon a Time in the West last night. Had been meaning to for years as it's on everyones top 100 movie list and is number 20 on the IMDB users poll. Dunno. It was okay after the first 45 minutes and I understand the directors intent on lingering facial shots but heck, most of those actors couldn't emote pain if they had a knife sticking in their back so for me it just causes things to drag. After the first 45 minutes it was okay but only just okay, certainly not the 20th best movie I've ever seen. I'd much rather have watched Rio Bravo or Silverardo or even Pale Rider.

	Whew...it's been too long since I seen it...but since I can't remember that much about it I assume that means I wasn't overly impressed. But it did have Jack Elam.

	It did but only for a brief scene. Plus Jason Robards, Henry Fonda and Charles Bronson. Not a bad cast, just didn't do it for me.

	Cool and I'm in for the prizes. Watched The Beaver last night. Surprisingly good. I'd of preferred car chases, explosions and blonds of course but still....

	Watched Copperfield with my sweetie and my youngest. We all enjoyed it very much. Watched both episodes back to back.

	I never saw the tv series but The A-Team movie was a hoot, was very surprised but there ya go.

	heh, heh... I watched both and the movie seemed like the real story behind the TV show. (I liked Murdock the best as well.)

	No idea when this will be on DVD. The girls decided to do "something" today and I went along. A movie in the big city. It was either The Smurfs or Zookeeper...at the $3 movie place. I don't like little blue people, so..... Zookeeper (2011) - IMDb It was corny. Jumped around a lot it seems instead of flowing smoothly. Sure won't win any awards. But when it was all over...we actually enjoyed it. For one time. It had us laughing. And afterward I released....no sex...no cussing...which surprised me after seeing that Adam Sandler was one of the co-producers or some such. (And I hate Adam Sandler!)

	The Jesse Stone movies might have been mentioned in this thread. It's a series of movies with Tom Selleck and based on Robert B. Parker's novels. I've watched two now and I like the character a lot. The stories might be a little spotty as the one I watched last night was pretty good, not great. An earlier one was quite good. Worth a watch though IMO. I think there are seven of them.

	Seen all of them, just think they're outstanding. Some are better than others but overall they've maintained the quality of the production/acting/writing over the entire series.

	Agreed, self contained but better if watched in order as there's some background stuff that'll make more sense. Nothing that's critical to the story but I would think it makes it more enjoyable.
