Image for Windows is an affordable and reliable drive image backup and restore
utility. Drive imaging from Windows is an easy and convenient way to backup all
your hard drive's data and operating system partitions. Your drive images can be
saved to a set of files on a local or network drive or burn the image directly
to most CD or DVD drives. The drive images saved to CD/DVD are bootable by
default, making a convenient recovery disc. Simply boot with the the CD or DVD
with the drive image files for the partition(s) you need to recover, and they
will be completely restored back to the way they were when the drive image was
created.
Image for Windows utilizes the technology available in the included PHYLockâ˘
add-on utility. PHYLock⢠allows you to continue to use your computer while the
drive image is locked to a point-in-time which is the state that's imaged. This eliminates the inconsistencies
you can experience while backing up a partition that is in use.
Image For Windows uses a simple, easy to use wizard driven interface that's easy
to use right out of the box so Image For Windows is a backup program that you'll
actually use. Restores are a snap, just boot from the backup CD or DVD and bang,
you start restoring.
