MySQL is great, I use it here on PCNet but no question that at times it can be
something of a, umm, challenge. Especially when it comes to database backup and
migrating databases and tables between servers.
DumpTimer will not only backup MySQL database and tables periodically but it
also allows the transfer of a MySQL database and MySQL tables between different
MySQL servers not only locally, but remote as well.
What all does it do?
Backup MySQL database on local servers.
Restore MySQL databases on local servers.
Backup MySQL databases on remote servers.
Restore MySQL databases on remote servers.
Copy MySQL tables from a local database to a remote database and vice versa.
Task Scheduler.
Encrypted transfer.
Compressed transfer.
SSL support.
Proxy support.
No database limitations (database size, location).
No problems if database is behind firewalls.
Can be started as a Windows service.
Windows 95/98/ME or Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP compatible.
Never hassle with a MySQL backup or transfer again.
